The Gemstone Lights 48-volt system.
Gemstone Lights rebuilt its permanent lighting system from the ground up. From the street it looks the same. The difference is in what powers it, and every new system we install is the 48-volt version.
- Built to the Canadian Electrical Code. A Class 2 certified system with overcurrent and short-circuit protection built in.
- A cleaner install. Gemstone Lights rates it up to 30% faster to install than its previous system. Our crew puts that time into straight lines and hidden wiring.
- Real warm white. Full colour plus a dedicated warm white, so everyday lighting looks like proper architectural lighting.
- Ready for what’s next. Gemstone Lights builds its new products on the 48-volt platform.

Every house is measured and planned before anything is ordered. Massey’s own planning app works out the roofline lengths, the lights, the power and the wiring runs, then draws your house so you can see where every light goes. That drawing comes with your written estimate.

How it works
From site visit to first lights-on.

We measure every roofline, check your soffit and fascia, and match the track to your trim colour.
Written estimate
You get a layout drawing of your house showing where the lights go, with the price in writing.
Installation
Our electricians install the custom track, lights, power kit and controller, with the wiring out of sight. Most homes are done in one day.
Handover
We set up the app with you before we leave, and you keep an owner’s guide for later.
Warranty
Covered for the long run.
Gemstone Lights product warranty, updated October 1, 2026. Registered within 30 days of installation.

Before you book.
What does it cost?
Every house is different, so we measure first. After the site visit you get a written estimate with a layout drawing of your home, so you see exactly what you’re paying for.
Will I see the track during the day?
The track sits under the soffit or on the fascia and is colour-matched to your trim, from more than 150 track colours. From the street it reads as part of the house.
Can it just be plain white?
Yes. The lights have a dedicated warm white, so you can run soft architectural lighting every night and save the colour for the occasions you choose.
Do I need Wi-Fi?
The controller joins your home Wi-Fi so you can change patterns from anywhere. Timers keep running if the internet goes down, and you can connect by Bluetooth near the house.
Do you install on businesses?
Yes. We install Gemstone Lights on commercial buildings too: brand colours after dark, holiday displays, and bright white for security.
Where do you install?
Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, Union Bay, Campbell River, Parksville and Qualicum Beach.
I already have Gemstone Lights. Can you service them?
Yes. We service the Gemstone Lights systems we’ve installed, including the earlier 12-volt system.
